"God, that was a beautiful book."
David's book sparkles with his wit and uplifts with his wisdom. His astounding memory portrays scenes in vivid detail. Though the print is black on white, David's writing brings the tiny, hazy past into widescreen hi-definition technicolor! I nostalgically relived the 60s and 70s with so much Davidian detail! David's stories are as wonderful as the sagacious lessons he extracts from them. When I finished reading it, I took a deep breath and exclaimed aloud, "God, that was a beautiful book."
